He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Lisa Ryan children, Robert Ian Ryan, Nathan Ryan, Cleant Ryan, Lizzie Ryan, Becky Fulford, Larissa (Matthew) Thompson, Sean (Crystal) Ryan, Billy (Hannah) Ryan, James Fruge, and Ashley (Jon) Rose, brothers, Eddie Brantley and David (Dawn) Pollett, in-laws, Gayle and Floyd Parrish, six grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and his foster parents Omie and Andrew Hudson. He was Retired from the U.S Navy as a Master Chief and as a Deputy from Johnson County Sheriff Department.

Robert was born as a Native American-Registered Eastern Band Cherokee. Interment will follow at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery Hwy 57, Wrightsville, Georgia.
